David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir and for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he is a anchor and co-anchor. Seen by millions of Americans David Muir's program is famous for its celebrity gossip video and animations. Made In America, his Emmy award-winning show, is one of his other achievements. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's anchor of choice before he took over ABC World News Tonight. He reported on many primetime ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America.
