Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome in Italy, where she was raised by both her parents. Luciana Paoluzzi had a father who was a retired Italian soldier as well as a mother Maria Rota Paoluzzi. She was also the mistress to Benito Mussolini. There is no information on whether there were any siblings. Luciana attended a local school before matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in the class. She began her modeling career within two years.
